Manual. 9. The vicinity exploration filter

You can configure the «Look around» mode filters so that the mode would contain only particular points of interest.

How to configure a filter.
1. Open «Vicinity exploration» in the Accessibility plugin.
2. There are checkboxes to the left of category names. All checkboxes are checked by default. Each category has a number of subcategories. Deselecting a category checkbox leads to deselecting of all its subcategories.
3. You can change the list of subcategories in a particular category. Double click a desirable category, then deselect unnecessary subcategories.
4. You can use special buttons for selecting or deselecting all categories at once.
5. When you select a checkbox of any main category, you automatically enter it for selecting subcategories. Press the «Close» button to save the changes. These changes will be valid after next application launching.
6. You can check the work of new filter configurations by double clicking the «Filter» button. There are two options of filtering: «Search nearby» and «Search near last map location».
7. If you want to see your user points in the «Vicinity exploration» mode, check the «User defined» category in the list and select necessary subcategories.
8. These filter changes also work in the «Look around» mode of the «Use location» context menu.
9. Use the «Save as» button to save your filter in the filter list of the «Search» menu. You must name your new filter in the «Save as» dialog.
