Manual. 8. Creating a user point

A user point is a favorite place that you add to the navigator database by yourself. Such points may contain information that is important to you. For example, houses absent on the map, necessary POIs and other frequently used places. These points are located in «My Places», the «My favorites» tab.

How to add a user point:
1. Double click «Where am I» button on the map screen to bring together the map center and your location. The map must be linked to location.
2. Open «Use location» context menu: long double click on the map screen or double click the «Back to menu» button and select «Use location».
3. Double click «Add to favorites». A new dialog window «Edit favorite» will be opened.
4. Enter a desirable name in the name field. Enter a subcategory name in the category field. Press the «Add» button when finished.

You will be informed about your point successful adding. The «Edit favorite» window will be closed. The subcategory with the specified name will be also created. Your point will be placed in this subcategory. Other subcategories added earlier are also located in the «My favorites» tab. A new category will be added, if the entered subcategory name doesn't correspond to any existing name. You can observe all subcategories and their points in «My Places». You can also delete a subcategory or a point there. If you want to place a point to the existing subcategory, while adding a point, double click the «Category» heading and choose a necessary subcategory in the list. Press the «Cancel» button to close the «Edit favorite» window without saving changes. Press the «Replace» button to replace the existing point. Select a point for replacing in the opened list. As a replacement result, the old point will be deleted and a new one will be added.
